Open the Shades and Bring In the Kiddos!

Open house is finally here! After two weeks of sorting, stapling, coloring, unpacking, and yes, even sweating, Room F is ready! With the temperature being 95 degrees, the shades to our room have been shut and the lights have been off, but now it's time to open the shades and meet the kiddos. I was thrilled to see Room F students not just enter our room, but jump, squeal, and wiggle their way in! One of our kiddos took his name tag to a table he wanted to sit at and upon seeing the numerous bins of books said, "This is the coolest room ever!" Now while I'm not sure it really is the coolest room ever, it will be a room of learning, fun, creativity, music, and community. Thank you to all of the families that came to open house! I can already see it's going to be a great year!
